Raise awareness and train people to safely practice soft mobility (cycling, VAE, electric scooters and other EDPM).
Our awareness-raising initiatives are aimed at businesses, local authorities and all institutions wishing to introduce new modes of low-carbon travel, in complete safety.
We facilitate the practice of more ecological and sustainable travel through prevention sessions / management of emerging mobility (electric scooters, electric bicycles, intermediate vehicles, etc.).
Since 2018, we have been running events throughout France with private and public actors. As part of the CEE Mobiprox program, co-led by the Road Safety Association and the FPMM Federation, in 2022 we organized more than 55 prevention workshops to ensure safe travel, while raising awareness of eco-mobility .
This awareness raising can take several forms: from general public events to CSR actions adapted to your organization.
The objectives of the sessions
The objective of the SML Academy is to raise awareness among a wide audience about eco-responsible travel, ranging from company employees to residents of local authorities:
- Learn to better cohabit in public spaces in the presence of other users and vehicles,
- Put new habits into practice, remember good practices (wearing a helmet, fluorescent vest) and points to be vigilant towards other road users)
- Learn to use your electric bike, electric scooter, gyroroue, electric skateboard or other soft mobility device(s) via a dedicated course in the company of instructors,
- Learn the rules for moving vehicles, understand how they work and find out about administrative procedures (insurance, possible registration, etc.)
Awareness-raising actions in both urban and rural areas
Within the SML academy, we are implementing actions aimed at changing mentalities regarding mobility. From simple users to internal referents (mobility managers, CSR, etc.), SML offers intervention formats adapted to all areas, whether in cities or in low-density areas. For example, we have developed mountain interventions with our SML Mountain Tour operation.
Actions in accordance with your corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy
By integrating these new modes of travel into your mobility strategy, you can actively contribute to reducing your carbon footprint and preserving the environment. We support you in this process by providing aware people (employees, visitors, residents of a local authority, etc.) with all the useful information in terms of prevention, good practices and information concerning the soft mobility devices tested.
